Attorneys

Cathleen A. Dettmann joined the firm in 2009. While in law school, Ms. Dettmann served on the Moot Court Board and as producer for the Stuart's Law Revue Society. She also provided legal assistance to individuals seeking to appeal criminal convictions through the law school's clinical programs.

Prior to law school, Ms. Dettmann worked as a policy analyst and lobbyist for both the State Bar of Wisconsin and for a private lobbying firm in Madison. In her work for the State Bar, she represented the political interests of various practice groups and staffed several State Bar committees, including the Unauthorized Practice of Law Policy Committee, the Ethics 2000 Committee and the Trust Account Rule Working Group. As a private contract lobbyist, Ms. Dettmann worked primarily with law enforcement and health care advocacy groups.

Ms. Dettmann is admitted to practice in the state courts of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
